Woody Radio DJ Mike Show #14, 4/17/2018

DjMikeWoodyRadio

This week’s Tuesday night extravaganza had a little bit of this, and a little bit of that, and even a little bit of something else. We played a vintage, 40 year old track, from a band called Strontium 90. Do you know who they were? They didn’t stay Strontium 90 for long–they changed their name, and became famous. I’m sure you could Google it and find out–but it would be much cooler if you listened to the show first, heard the song, and tried to guess, before I announce it to you.

We also played some brand new music by Bay Station–a great Americana band from the Bay Area, who’ve really outdone themselves with their Other Desert Cities album. We celebrate Liz Phair’s birthday, and the guys from The Sleep Junkies pop in to greet the Woody Radio listeners! What else do you need? Maybe some new music from Blake Jones & The Trike Shop, Michael Simmons, and Lannie Flowers? Check–we’ve got that too. You’ve got to listen to this show–53 songs worth of rock ‘n’ roll goodness!

But don’t just listen to my show–we’ve got an amazing array of DJs at Woody Radio, each of them with an amazing depth of musical knowledge, and great taste in music. Be part of us–we’re your musical safe place!
