This show was totally packed with music. How packed? Well, 55 songs full, that’s how much. We were “forced” to go into double overtime to get it all in. (If you don’t know what I mean by overtime, much less double overtime, give a listen to my show, and you’ll hear it happening right after three hours of “regulation” time!)

The variety was rather astounding. Where else could you segue from Syd Barrett-era Pink Floyd to San Francisco-based Americana band Bay Station? Or how about 3 songs in a row, going from Robert Cray to Liz Phair, and then on to Anton Barbeau. It all came together at a breakneck pace, and yes, each of these songs and transitions was handpicked especially for you.

This was pretty much the radio show I’d want to listen to if I were listening to the show. Or put another way–if I’d invited you over to my house on Tuesday night, you and I would sit down and listen to each of these songs together, in this exact order, until it got late and we got bleary-eyed. So that’s what you’re about to listen to if you push “Play” below: late night, bleary-eyed radio.

Also, enjoy all the other fine shows on the mighty Woody Radio. My fellow DJs work hard (and I’m not gonna lie: play hard) to bring you their vision of well-crafted and blended music shows. It’s worth your while, and you’ll get a kick out of all this music.

Enjoy the show!
