Hard to believe it’s already September, but it is. Just past the American Labor Day holiday, and an unofficial kick-off to fall. So what does that mean? Here in Sacramento, it was 84 degrees at showtime, so it doesn’t really feel like Fall yet. Maybe it means I can’t wear my white slacks and white patent leather shoes for 6 months now. Yes, that must be it–gotta look good for the radio!
Nah–the way I mark it is by playing some music for you on my radio show. 56 songs worth, to be exact. Don’t let that scare you off–I’ve heard that a few of you aren’t listening to the podcasts because the show is so…long. But I really think you should all listen to at least the first song–and maybe you’ll get hooked, and want to hear the second song. Repeat for 3+ hours, and you’ve just done yourself a huge favor–you’ve heard the best of brand new music from 2018, mixed with some tried and true songs fron the past.
