Rain? Check. Wind gusts? Check. Tortilla chips? Check. I had all of those things at the ready when I started my show this week. It was 45 degrees at show time–and by the end of the show, it warmed UP to 47. That’s pretty strange for a nighttime, winter radio show, but if nothing else, we moved the needle a little.
I was in a bit of a chatty mood, so I told some strange and sometimes awful stories between songs. Thankfully, I still left room to squeeze in 53 songs during the show, but yes, we had to go into double overtime to complete it. It was nice to hear some more new 2019 music, and to play more of the finest that last year had to offer. And oddball segues? Yep, we had those too. All in all, just another night at the office.
