But seriously, it’s been 100 episodes since Gidget, along with Boris, part of our ownership trust, invited me to join the fam-damily of this amazing internet pirate radio ship we call Woody. So to celebrate, we needed to take it up a level.
Being a technical person, I enjoy the technical challenges of doing radio almost as much as putting a show together. So I finally figured out how to take phone calls (as well as Skype calls) in my home studio. And to commemorate this auspicious occasion, I asked DJ Gidget to be my first on air guest on my Woody Radio show. We do have a bit of history together. Like long conversations on the air that get cut off by station breaks, just as they’re really, really getting good. So I’m happy to say that this show featured one long, uninterrupted conversation between us. We talked about…everything! So if you want to hear what it would sound like if Gidget and I did a talk show, this is your chance! But don’t worry, I still managed to squeeze in a couple dozen tracks of music, so it’s the best of both worlds.
I want to thank DJ Gidget, Boris, DJ Mac, and DJ Tim Tim for making it so. They’ve all been instrumental in getting me on the air here at Woody Radio, and being kind and generous with their time and talents. An even bigger thanks to all the artists whose music I get to play on the air. Without them, no music, no life. And finally, a huge thanks to you for listening. For 100 times so far!
